Let The Dead Die

This was a general knowledge game which also tested the players’ reflexes. This game consisted of a large circle with a smaller circle in the middle. The bigger circle is divided into segments [pizza like] which corresponds with the number of players.

How to play
Each player selects a country name and is allocated 50 points.
These points are then written down in the sand in the player’s segment of the circle.
One player then starts from the centre where they declare ‘war’ on a ‘country’.
All the other countries (players) then run as far from the circle as they can.
The player under the name of the country, whose name has been called out, then rushes from their position into the centre of the circle and shouts “Stop!”
Once stop had been commanded, all players freeze at the points at which they are.
The chosen country player then takes bounding steps from the edge of the circle towards the closest country.
If the player gets at the nearest target in three bounds then the tagged player loses 10 points and in turn declares war on a country of their choice.
Everyone then comes back into the circle to their respective spot. If the new player fails to get at anyone, they lose 10 points, before the other players come back into their respective spots and he declares war on somebody else.
When the player in question’s points reach 0 the player is eliminated.
