They travelled in the wind,
Words so sacred the earth could barely hold them,
Whispers echoing in ancient caves and secret dwelling places.
She breathes in.
The sun sinking into her skin,
Finding synergy with the light within as she radiates an eery wisdom akin to the God within.
\u201cListen.\u201d
She said. Time and time again as if stuck in an endless loop because, they hardly did\u2026 listen.
For she spoke words they couldn\u2019t begin to understand,
Finding reincarnation in stories echoed from generation to generation.
Until her gift became the stuff of legends.
For she is a spirit that has been present from the very beginning,
Traveling in the wind, until she finds someone willing,
To listen.
And as she turned to face the horizon,
She saw concrete standing in the place of mountains,
A roaming people, some of whom have forgotten where home is.
And things beyond the comprehension of those living in the moment.
She knew on those things it might be better to stay silent,
So, she turned her attention to the present,
And affirmed the strength of others who were too busy thinking to realize their own inner workings.
So they listened. And came out victorious,
Oblivious to the words unspoken that would one day find their way to another priestess.
Traveling in the wind,
Words so sacred the earth will one day know them.
