Journals
POVOAfrika publishes a women’s special edition every May and the main journal in September. This biannual magazine series on arts and cultural discourse through the stories of ordinary people is a medium where unique experiences converge as a body of personal testimonies, artist interviews, art, immigration, race relations and gender mainstreaming.
As a collective, both journals offer an alternative to mainstream media with its focus on trending monetized content by promoting free, widely available platforms for lively discourse on issues affecting ordinary Zimbabweans and the diaspora.
