About Me

Tinashe I. Katandawa was born 18 December 1993 at Harare Hospital. The only boy in a family of three, andlivedinChitungwizatownship. He did his primary education at MberiPrimary School, after finishing high school he decided toapplytoan arts school in Zimbabwe. In 2014 National Gallery Of Zimbabwe School of Visual Arts and Design accepted his application letter and he spend a year practising drawing, printmaking, photography, painting, sculpture and graphics. The second year he started majoring in painting and minoring in printmaking. Now he is a full time artist based in Fishoek Cape Town.
