POVOAfrika publishes a women’s edition. This magazine series on arts and cultural discourse through the stories of ordinary people is a medium where unique experiences converge as a body of personal testimonies, artist interviews, art, immigration, race relations and gender mainstreaming.

As a collective, both journals offer an alternative to mainstream media with its focus on trending content by promoting free, widely available platforms for lively discourse on issues affecting ordinary Afrikans.
